POWER Kids is a ministry believing in the future and present impact of kids in the church today. POWER Kids seeks to partner with parents in providing a solid foundation of biblical knowledge and positive life skills. We believe in the POWER of purpose in kids' lives. We teach our children to Praise and Obey God, Win others to Christ, Encourage each other, and Respond to God in service.

POWER Kids is an exciting time for kids 5 years-5th grade to learn together and separately as age & gender groups in environments packed with exciting worship and lots of fun!

We welcome you to Grace! No need to be nervous, we were all new too at one time or another. Here’s a few things to help you and your children be prepared.

Where do I go when I come?

POWER kids for 5 years-5th grade, is located in the lower level of the building. Check-in downstairs or at the SLIDE, located off the main lobby! POWER kids Nursery & Preschool, for 0-4 years, is located off the main lobby. Check-in beside the Information Center in the main lobby. All classes and SLIDE open all services!

How early should I come?

Rooms open 15 minutes before the start of each service. Services times are:
Satruday - 5:30pm & 7:00pm
Sunday - 9:00am & 10:30am

What to Bring?

Kids 4+ years are encouraged to bring a Bible.

No toys or other valuable items should be brought.

Nursery & Preschool bring a diaper & sippy cup if needed.

First Steps

Once a child has accepted Jesus into their heart or has questions about it, we offer this class to explain Salvation as well as baptism.

Next Steps

Communion as a family is offered to help explain the three-fold concept of Grace Church’s communion, love
feast & foot washing. This a neat experience for the entire family.

Junior Quizzing – (Sept – March)

3rd through 6th grade kids working
together to learn and memorize portions of scripture used in competition at district quiz rallies. It’s a great way to hide God’s word in their hearts. Practices Sundays 3:30-5:30pm

Kids Choir

Grades K-5th. Practices Sundays 5:30-7:30pm. Concerts in Spring & Christmas. Summer practices for Evening Bible Camp Worship Team.

Jr. Camp – (June) 3rd – 5th graders

For one week in June the kids head to Beulah Beach in Vermilion, Ohio to meet with other kids from our Northeast Ohio District. Archery, team building, swimming, golf, crafts and digital photography and much more are offered on the shores of Lake Erie.
