WHO WE ARE:
New Perspective is designed for young adults ages 18-28, with a desire to walk daily toward Christ. It's not just for college students. It's not only for those who work full-time. It's not just for single people, married people, or people who have kids. Whatever stage of life you're in, if you are between 18 and 28, New Perspective is for you!
We are not confined to a building or structured with social guidelines. New Perspective works because we are a network of positive relationships.
HOW WE ROLL:
New Perspective meets every Thursday at 8pm and is held at the North Campus of Grace Church located at 754 Ghent Road, Bath, Ohio 44333.
On the second Thursday of every month, the Central Gathering takes place. The Central Gathering is a highly creative production that communicates a particular biblical truth by engaging all five senses. The purpose of the Central Gathering is to engage people in innovative, kinesthetic interaction with the living God. Although each Central Gathering features music, teaching, and the arts, no two are alike. The experience is always distinct and never formulaic.
On every other Thursday of the month (the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th [if applicable]), discussion groups take place. This is where it really gets good. Discussion groups are the perfect opportunity to dig deeper into what you’ve learned and experienced at the Central Gathering. You’ll have the chance to go beyond the surface of deep issues that affect each of our lives. Even better, you can hear what God has to say about it in His Word (the Bible) and talk about your opinions and ideas. Discussion groups are relaxed and informal and give you the chance to connect with a small group of people who are on the same journey.
Finally, once a month New Perspective will provide an opportunity to apply what we are learning in real life through an outreach opportunity. At New Perspective, we believe that vibrant faith is characterized by action. Each month we offer opportunities to not only learn about faith, but to live it through acts of service. Each activity is rooted in the biblical truth communicated at that month’s Central Gathering, so that we are never just “going through the motions.” Instead, our passion for people intensifies as we find creative ways to carry out God’s command to love each other and those in our community, city, state, and world.
